چکیده
Of the currently available brain imaging techniques for diagnosing tumors, diffusion-weighted MRI and perfusion are cutting-edge may provide improved diagnostic capacity compared to traditional such as positron emission tomography. Moreover, they fully non-invasive avoid exposure radiation. While in general has been used research medicine decades, more recent development of multi-modal multiparametric neuro oncology holds much promise enhancement diagnosis, prognosis, patient-tailored treatments this field. This review will evaluate how these various clinical value above beyond previous techniques.

Segmentation of Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging Based on Graph Theory
Introduction: Segmentation of brain images especially from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an essential requirement in medical imaging since the tissues, edges, and boundaries between them are ambiguous and difficult to detect, due to the proximity of the brightness levels of the images. Material and Methods: In this paper, the graph-base...

Objective: Cardiac hypertrophy is a complex phenotype induced by a number of stimuli and may lead to cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Present knowledge suggests that cell cycle regulatory proteins take part in the development of hypertrophy. We have investigated the activation and regulation of the E2F transcription factor during the hypertrophic response. Methods: The expression and activity ...

Morphological assessment using Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is still the workhorse of tumor detection and diagnosis. In particular, MRI provides detailed information about cerebral tumor anatomy, cellular metabolism and hemodynamic features, making it a fundamental tool for a correct diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the disease. Various new functional imagi...
متن کاملAnalysis of Memory-Related Brain Activation Maps in Sleep-Depriveation using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Background and purpose: Insomnia is a common sleep disorder with negative consequences such as decreased quality of life. In this study, the effect of sleep deprivation on memory in both young and older adults was investigated using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Materials and methods: In this retrospective study, fMRI data of 40 healthy subjects (17 young and 23 older people) w...
